I did my very best to make these.

All was well until the moment that I had to cut out the stars. It turns out that I am all thumbs when it comes to jello jigglers. I was worried about them sticking when I tried to cut them out, so I first inverted the 9×13 onto a baking pan. Even with a cool water bath prior, it peeeeeeled off the bottom, breaking in a few places. Then, as I cut out the stars, many of the blue and red cubes fell off. I have no idea why they didn’t adhere to the milk/jello mixture. Maybe I let it cool too long prior to adding it to the cubes. Either way, my husband said it was delicious!

Thank you for inspiring me! (an un-domestic mother of three)
