The colours you choose in your everyday life is a reflection of the type of person you are. It reflects your moods and influences how you appear to other people.
Colour has been associated with feelings for hundreds of years. We talk about someone feeling blue, seeing red, bring green with envy, or even feeling off-colour. Children are mostly attracted to bright primary colours, as we get older we seem to be drawn to more subdued colours and neutrals.
With our art and crafts, we are blesses with an increasing number of colours to choose from. Paints, crayons, felt tip markers, water-colours, card stock, scrapbook pages come in such a large variety of colours, it is sometimes difficult to pick and choose.
One thing to keep in mind when choosing colours for making arts and crafts especially those craft items we make for others, either as gifts or to sell, is the fact that we all seem to love viewing colour changes. A new colour combination arouses our interest. If everything in our life was coloured in what we now think to be our favourite colours , we would soon get quite bored with the whole look of it all. So! ... Always feel free to choose the coloursYOU like at this very moment. The card or gift you make today in those special colours will add a new colour scheme to someone elses life and we all need new colours in out life ... enjoy!
