How to make your own paper beads with printed Bead Triangles

How to make your own paper beads with printed Bead Triangles - Make all your beads exactly the same.

Each sheet makes eight identical paper beads. I always find it facinating to see how the beads will look once the paper is rolled ... the blank white area in the center of the triangle will not show once the beads are rolled. I added this white area to save on printer ink ... no sense wasting stuff when you don't need it. huh!...!

INSTRUCTIONS: Cut out your triangles removing (cutting off) all the pale gray around the edges, and lay them one at a time pretty side facing down. Using a glue stick, or brush on paste, glue the rounded narrow end of the triangle to within and inch or so from the end so that the entire end (one inch of it) has glue. ... and before the glue has time to dry... Use a kebab stick, or thin knitting needle and roll the cut paper triangle around the stick starting at the wide end with the pretty side of the paper facing out.

Secure the glued end and add more glue if you think it needs it. Remove the bead from the stick. You may have to jiggle the stick a little to get it loose. When you have all your beads rolled you can string them on kebab sticks and varnish them in small batches. Mod Podge or Royal Coat by Plaid is what I use.

Allow the beads to dry, then use a sharp safety blade (available at hardware stores) to cut the beads apart ready to string into necklaces or to use for other craft project.
