Soft padded Journal in coffee and cream colors.The front cover of this journal is decorated with an up-cycled silk panel with coffee brown and black embroidery also in silk threads.
The silk panel is also padded for a soft luxurious feel and has a thick silk twisted cord with two gorgeous tassels hanging from the spine cords.
The spine cords are crossed twice at the back to make the book sturdy and strong.
The particular method of stitching that I use to bind most of my journals evolved from the coptic stitch and involves
sewing on cords leaving an open spine.
This allows each book to open comfortably flat
which is a wonderful feature when writing, gluing or sketching and also strengthens the spine.
