Metal Blobs on Silk Look Basket Weave Texture Fabric

Hand stitched journal sewn on cords with cris-cross detail at the spine. This journal is decorated with found objects in the form of metal blobs from a local galvanized roofing factory.
My Grand Son In-Law got them for me. I think they are gorgeous. Love the way this book came out. The fabric is an upholstery fabric, heavy duty, with a silk basket weave woven texture. Eight extra long strings of beads fall from the macrame tassel knotted with natural jute string. Hand made and hand painted beads for added decoration.

COUNTING PAGES:
When I list the number of pages in a book, I am referring to one side of each leaf. For example, in a book with numbered pages, Page 17 would be on one side of the leaf or piece of paper, Page 18 on the other side. Therefore, a book with 224 pages would have 112 leaves.
